Toasted Sourdough Bread With Avocado Cream

IMG_0853.JPG

There is nothing better and tastier than a quick avocado toast. I know that avocado toasts are kind of everywhere at the moment and people like to charge an apple and an eye for them but there is a reason why it is so popular. Its because it tastes super yummy, it’s super healthy and is made in under 5 min. If you are running short on time why not make avocado toast your kind of go to fast food instead of unhealthy alternatives.

I think the avocado trend is here to stay for quite some time and is not going anywhere soon. It might actually become a firm favorite and classic go to snack or breakfast option that people are going to reach for again and again.
I personally love having avocados on sourdough bread for lunch or breakfast and could not be without it now. And hopefully, with this recipe, you won’t have to spend anymore ridicules amounts of money for something so simple and easy.

Ingredients

2 slices of sourdough bread
1 ripe avocado
juice of half a lemon

1 whole chinese leaf
2 oranges

for the dressing
2tbsp of olive oil
1tbsp of white wine vinegar
salt and pepper

Directions

Slice Chinese leaf into small stripes and put into salad bowl. remove the peel from the orange with a knife and fillet the orange into small pieces and also add it to the salad bowl. Squeeze remaining juice from the leftover orange peel and carcass into bowl and season with white wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. That’s it super simple and easy. I like to serve mine with falafel but you can also have it as a side dish with any other dish you fancy. Hope you will like it.
