Private Cooking Classes

Are you looking for ways to cook healthier foods in your kitchen? Do you need help with learning how to cook delicious meals from fresh whole ingredients? Or are you just wanting to improve your basic skills and gain some confidence in the kitchen?  If so I can help!

Learn the art of healthy cooking in a customized cooking class just for you. You’ll get a hands-on cooking experience in a supportive, friendly atmosphere. Master basic techniques, easy recipes and sample menus that will help you look and feel great. You’ll come away finally feeling confident about your kitchen skills, with a solid understanding of the basics of nourishing cooking. This classe will empower you with knowledge and great tasting recipes that you and your whole family will love!

Classes include:

  • 4 hours of guided instruction that will include hands-on prep and cooking

  • Recipes custom designed to your tastes, skills, likes, and dietary needs, etc.

  • Knife skills (chopping, dicing, how to hold a knife, etc)

  • Information about healthy cooking techniques (steaming, sautéing, etc)

  • Learn about seasonal ingredients and how to choose the best produce (organic, grass feed)

  • Information on how to read food labels discerningly

  • Must-have kitchen staples for a healthy kitchen

  • Nutrition tips

Location:

Classes can be held in any kitchen, big or small. When you sign up for a class, I will send you a short questionnaire so that I can learn more about you, your skill level, dietary needs, your kitchen layout and appliances.

Groceries:

I will send a detailed shopping list prior to your lesson so you can check off the items you already have, and pick the items you don’t have.  

Cost: 

Private lessons are £250, plus the cost of groceries. Please contact me for more information or to set up your lesson. 

 

Cooking lessons can be adapted for couples, families or groups. Additional fees may apply. Special dietary preferences such as macrobiotic, vegan and  dairy or gluten-free can always be accommodated.
